WISCONSIN PROTESTS: the rebirth of humanity?

WisProtest.jpg

The first time we were given 'life'
By Eve who wondered why.
Uncertain, Adam wet the earth
And made the first reply.

Religions and philosophies
Obscured the void since then;
And one was trusting in the "Dream"
Until Wisconsin, when

Some gathered to protest a law
That clearly is unjust.
It's certain now the 'government'
No longer has their trust.

Now that it's lost, what will they do?
Will they just wade around?
I pray they from the 'mud' give birth
To life on higher ground?

There we would see with open eyes
The scales of justice tip,
Down to humane economy
Up from dictatorship,

That millions more in other states
Agree to overthrow;
Then free of 'mud' create a life
In which we all can grow.

Without dictating what to do
By the economy,
We'll follow all the paths of life
To see what we can be.

The human race to get ahead
We will no longer run.
The life we find along our paths
We'll share with everyone.

The measure of success in life
Will not be what we earn,
But rather by the growing sum
Of everything we learn.

Together we will realize
Capacities innate,
Which in "reaction to the void"
Creates the ideal state.

This vision differs from the 'mud'
That clogs our common brain.
The most important difference is,
This one we can sustain.

TAHRIR SQUARE: birthplace of Egyptian democracy?

AP_Egypt_Tahrir_Square_01Feb2011_480.jpg

A million people filled the square.
They came from every walk of life.
It's said democracy was there.
That couldn't be, there was no strife.

The people had a single goal,
To from the cup of freedom sip.
They came as one to overthrow
The head of their dictatorship.

Cooperation was the drink
That filled the cup they passed around.
It drugged them so they had to think,
"This time we stand on common ground."

"The Man" is gone, what's their intent?
Here too will people vote for 'me',
And watch Egyptian government
Descend into democracy?

DEMOCRACY: a debacle

Democracy was born out of
Our inability
To understand the common life
Of all humanity.

Democracy does not allow
A space for empathy.
It’s dominated by the meme
What is in it for me?

Democracy gives us ‘rights’ to
Unfettered liberty.
When ‘rights’ divide they're wrongs beyond
All rationality.

Democracy maintains divides
In human unity.
They are divisions that preclude
Sustainability.

Democracy is costing us
Our livability.
We cast a vote then pay for life.
Division isn't free.

Democracy supports all faiths
And secularity.
The conflict everyone has caused
Helps write our history.

Democracy distracts us from
A sad reality,
The harsh, corrupt dictatorship
By our Economy.

Democracy results in fights
Because we can't agree.
The politicking demonstrates
Our asininity.

Democracy gives us the right
To our stupidity
Despite the fact its consequence
Will harm humanity.

Democracy depends upon
Made up philosophy
With which we try to fill the void,
The hole in life we see.

Democracy will be our death
Unless we can agree
To end our tries to fill the void,
Which feed democracy.

Democracy we should change to
A life of unity.
Together is the only way
We’ll save humanity.

Democracy can be replaced
With ideal anarchy,
Self-governance by parallel,
Innate activity.

DICTATORSHIPS: processes of unity

mubarak-1.jpg

Deposing our dictators from

Positions they have held for life
Apparently gives hope to some

Their leaving will diminish strife.

More likely though hope will be dashed,

For even though they are corrupt,

Without the pressure they exert

So much more conflict will erupt.

Still fear of strife can't justify

Accepting dictates from "the man";

But lopping off a country's head

Should be preceded by a plan.

There needs to be analyses

Of all the reasons that we fight.
These 'wrongs' we then take from our lives

Until we're left with just one "right".

With it, one-man dictatorships

Will lose their rationality.

There'll be no need for man made laws,

Not even for democracy.

The 'law' that's written in our genes

Will dictate what we can become;
And parallel dictatorships

Will make Humanity the sum.

BARACK OBAMA: winning the future

s-STATE-OF-THE-UNION-2011-QUOTES-large300.jpg

I listened to the president
Deliver his inspiring speech.
Although he had the best intent
The goals he set we may not reach.

To "work together" is too hard
When we are kept apart in life
By our "beliefs" which we regard
As rights, despite that they cause strife.

For it the president has praise;
But "common hope" there cannot be
Until we all together raze
The vertical economy.

With one belief and equal pay
Our life "horizon" would be changed,
And we would see beyond the way
"Titanic 'chairs" are rearranged.

The "future" can be only won
Without the tragic human race.
Unless it's shared by everyone
This life can't be the "better place".
