RACISM

We know when human life began
It started in a single place,
But as groups spread around the world
They each became a different race.
Though still within humanity
Location and selection made
Some changes in appearance that
Uniting now, with time will fade.

While separate, groups reached out and
Expanded their capacity.
As facts piled up they wondered more
About the why they came to be.
Increasingly they realized
Behind the why there is a void,
And over time they sensed it was
A fact they needed to avoid.

In time they found eight ways with which
They tried to fill the void in vain
By blending two or more; but three
Will be sufficient to explain
How racism became involved.
At first to have their lives make sense
They were attributed to gods.
And then they tried preeminence.
These two combined to form a view
Believers saw in their God's sight
Our races on an upright scale
And most preeminent was white.
They further saw the colours ranged
On down through darker skins to black,
And in the separation felt
Their God had justified attack.

Though racism can't fill the void
It is part of so many tries
That as a growing consequence
We hear among the varied cries,
"Our hands are up. We cannot breathe.
Nor do we see much hope ahead.
Financial inequality
Has left us mostly walking dead."

It's not race based. Its source is tries
To fill the void with cash and stuff
It buys. The effort never ends
Since more will never be enough.
Cash also buys preeminence.
Joint efforts to get more create
A vertical economy
And our related social state.
Combined attempts to get more cash
Create a population cone,
Around the vertical supply,
We colour with each racial tone.
We suck the money from the top
Where white men grab great quantities.
Amounts they miss then trickle down,
Thus massive black inequities.

The cries evoked by racism
Are loud, but still they cause some doubt
We don't know what to do except
To march, protest, wave signs and shout.
Another hint we have no plan,
The crowds are relatively small.
To rid our lives of racism
The actions must involve us all.

The end is near impossible.
The way however, crystal clear.
Stop filling and then drain the void
Of all the memes that we hold dear.
The empty void will leave us with
Our natural activities
With which we come to realize
Our own unique capacities
By reaching out to others and
To Nature's God who doesn't see
Our different appearances
Just covering what we can be.
The vertical economy
Will by an emptied void be razed.
The colour scale will blend; and if
God is, a fair God will be praised.
Not incidentally, a razed
Economy will also mean
Though coloured skin will fade away
We'll see environmental green.

LAW of HUMAN NATURE

An apple fell and Newton found
The simple law of gravity.
When chaos falls that's too due to
The law that rules Humanity.
It's not like nature's other laws.
The law that rules us lets us choose
Activities but then decides
How much of life they gain or lose.

Life gained or lost depends upon
Unique reactions to the void,
Since 'Eve' asked 'Adam', "Why am I?",
The missing fact we can't avoid.
It's just a space within our mind.
It has no power of its own.
But feeling emptiness can be
The most destructive force we've known.

We can react by giving up.
To fill it we can also try.
But only nature's way can tame
The force unleashed with "why am I?".
It's reaching to the boundaries
Of our unique capacities,
To others and to Nature's God,
The ideal way that mostly frees
Us from the vision of the void.
Our giving up can't do the trick
And tries to fill the void will fail
Regardless of the ways we pick.

The law that governs us allows
A choice but nature qualifies.
We must "reach out..." to some extent.
With no ideal a person dies.
How much of the ideal we have
Is varied by how much we choose
Of either of the other two.
As they increase, ideal we lose.

The evidence of our lives proves
Our loses far outweigh our gains.
We've tried to fill the void so much
Not much of the ideal remains.
If we continue in this way
Our law of human nature states
Our lives will end in chaos soon,
Just what our ruling law dictates.
However, if we chose to change
We might still turn ourselves around
Buy flooding life with the ideal
Before our 'apple' hits the ground.

NATURE’S NUTRITIONAL IDEAL

SPIRITUAL DISEASE

Our body, mind and spirit too,
There's no way we can separate.
When 'seen' together in our mind
A tetrahedron they create.

Its base, the function of our form
Is our reaction to the void.
It's found by asking "Why am I?",
A question 'Eve' could not avoid.

Unique reactions we create
By blending only two of three.
From nature we've got the "ideal"
One of the two it needs to be.

With the "ideal" we reach out to
The ends of our capacities,
To others and to Nature's God.
It is the only one that frees

Us from the emptiness we feel
Each time we ask of life its why.
The second just lets us "give up";
To "fill the void" we also try.

With the "ideal" our spirit shines.
When we give up our 'light' goes out.
And when we try to fill the void
We feel dark, self-destructive doubt.

To the degree that we "...reach out..."
Our sense of spirit is at ease.
As decreased by the other two
Our spirit suffers from disease.

It's caused by nourishment we feed
To both our body and our mind.
We feed ourselves what we get from
And we then give back to mankind.

ALCOHOL, DRUGS, SEX and other anesthetics

When 'Eve' first wondered "Why am I?"
Humanity became aware
Of self, of others, and the void
That to avoid they took great care.

Since then we've tried eight diverse ways
To fill the void the question leaves.
Among them we continue to
Diminish our capacities
With alcohol, drugs, games and sex
And techno-means to numb our mind
So if we ask the "why?" of life
The emptiness we do not find.
Some say it shouldn't be a crime.
But since we live collectively,
Decreasing them we should think is
A crime against humanity.

The other ways are also crimes.
One can't be used to solve the rest.
Our only hope for crime free lives,
Discard them all to leave what's best.
It's reaching to the limits of
Inherited capacities,
To others, and to Nature's God,
The only way that we can ease
The common burden that we share
With needed maximum success.
This natural activity
Can ease the fear of emptiness.

KNOWLEDGE and ESSENTIAL FACTS

GOOD and EVIL

The good and evil we believe
Are absolute opposing traits,
Oppose each other but are found
In relatively fluid states.

They're from reactions to the void
Behind the question "Why am I?"
Our evil is created when
The ways to fill the void we try.
Our good is born in reaching to
The bounds of our capacity,
To others, and to Nature's God,
The "ideal" way for us to be.

The traits end a continuum.
Our evil blends with good between.
The closer to the good we are
The less of evil will be seen.
As we approach the evil end
It will become more evident
While signs of good will disappear;
And any blend we can present.
We can present completely good.
We need some good in every blend.
Removing every bit of good
Will take us to an evil end.

Our good brings life, our evil death.
Our evil dominates our lives.
Replacing evil with our good
May mean humanity survives.
